I was doing a google image search earlier and i came accross this image full of color casting:



I thought to myself this is a perfect image for my tutorial read below to learn the method of reviving a image from
that to this:

After aquireing your selected image and having it open in photoshop, right click the icon thats a circle with
half in black and half in white under the layers section and select curves.



Make sure all the curve display options are showing and set the options
to the ones in the screen shot above.

Now click show clipping (this will make the screen go white), in this example the highlight and
shadow sliders do not need to be adjusted, in some images they may have to be.

Double click the highlight dropper (the one nearest the show clipping check box) and set the RBG values to
your preference im using 247.

Now do the same for the shadow dropper, im using the values 7 for RBG.

With the shadow dropper selected click on a set of pixels that you can see on the document (press ctrl and space if you
need to zoom in)

Now do the exact same thing for the highlight dropper, now just deselect the the show
clipping check box, click ok and you should see your transformed.
